Unfortunately (but we hope it’s understandable), there are basic exclusions to the warranty that we are happy to offer with our products. They cover the event of fault if the product is being used in a manner that it was not intended. Pretty simple.
What are the exclusions to the Single Trail Warranty?
Subject to your rights as outlined by ANZ Consumer Laws and may be additional to the Product Warranty, Single Trail does not give any warranty:
Replacement of wear and tear parts, damage from a crash or other accidental damage, and damage from abuse or corrosion are all examples of what is not covered.
This is normal of electro-plating and expected to occur more frequently and rapidly under certain environmental conditions.
“Electroplating entails the electrodeposition of a metal onto the surface of a steel or iron product. This metal coating acts as a sacrificial barrier that can slow and even prevent corrosion from forming on the underlying material, which is referred to as the substrate.” – Sharrets Plating.
In the event that you suspect corrosion, we will inspect photos of your rack to ensure it remains safe to use.
You must stop using your Single Trail product immediately to avoid causing injury or further damage. Contact us within the product’s warranty period by email at sales@Single Trail.com.au.
At the discretion of Single Trail, photos evidencing the fault or inspection upon the product’s return will be required before a warranty is issued. Take photos of the part and how the product is being used when the fault happened or as soon as it is observed.
We may need you to send the product back to us or a designated repair facility so that we can fix or replace it. We will let you know when you contact us.
Defective products covered by this warranty will be repaired or replaced without charge, or Single Trail will provide you with a refund of the purchase price of the product, minus any rebates, discounts, or return shipping of the defective product.
Our intention is to provide a remedy that has the most satisfactory result for all parties. However, subject to your rights that cannot be excluded under the ANZ Consumer Laws the remedy offered under this Product Warranty will be determined by Single Trail at its sole discretion. We will make all reasonable efforts to ensure that you are satisfied with the decision made to resolve all product issues.
You will be responsible for any reasonable costs of returning your product to us. We can only ship replacement products under this Product Warranty to locations in the country where the original product was purchased.
You will need to provide proof of your original purchase to support your warranty claim.
